Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration Service Technician

Position Summary

You will be maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and installing commercial HVAC systems across the Dallas/Fort Worth surrounding areas. You will be joining an existing team of HVAC Commercial Refrigeration Technicians, though you will work independently much of the time. A vehicle, mobile phone,
and clothing are provided to ensure you are well equipped for the job. We’re looking for both seasoned professionals and aspiring technicians who have the ability to show up on time, learn, and work hard.

Responsibilities

  • MAINTAIN HVAC equipment including: changing air filters, greasing bearings, recording
    refrigeration pressures, and adjusting gas-fired burners
  • TROUBLESHOOT HVAC systems including power wiring, unit controls, motor, blower, fan,
    bearing, gas & electric heat, refrigeration systems, economizer
  • REPAIR HVAC equipment including soldering, brazing, pipe fitting, and unit wiring, rooftop units
    , and split systems, as well as ductless splits, boilers, chillers, cooling towers, Walk in Coolers,
    Walk in Freezers. Please note experience working on all of these types of systems is preferred,
    but not required.
  • INSTALL HVAC equipment including: Installing New/Demo Roof Top Units w/ Crane direction,
    copper and steel piping, sheet metal ducting tie-in, equipment hanging
  • BUILD STRONG CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIPS; build knowledge and understanding of new
    and existing customer needs/expectations.
  • COMMUNICATION Must be capable of diagnosing and explaining all problems and options to the
    client & IMC staff coordinators
  • COMPANY VEHICLES Maintains vehicles by keeping records of service, scheduling, and
    completing repairs and maintenance services as required and turn over to the office.
  • FLEXIBILITY to work overtime/weekends, as required w/ rotating on calls
    Required Qualifications
  • 4+ years working experience with HVAC & Refrigeration
  • HVAC trade school certification or 5-year apprenticeship program
  • Valid driver's license
  • No DUI, DUID, or DWAI convictions or Felonies
  • EPA Approved Universal Technician Certification preferred
  • Can successfully pass a criminal background check and drug test
    Compensation: Competitive Salary w/ weekly pay
